The damages for kataquinino syndrome can fall on quite a large spectrum. Um I’ve seen some uh potential clients who’ve
come to me who have experienced kataquinus syndrome but over time their issues have managed to get better.
That’s really the optimum thing. I’m always happy for my phone to ring again.
I would prefer people to heal and get better. But when they don’t, the spectrum can be quite large. Um, many of
our clients that come to us uh now no longer have any feeling in one or both of their legs. Sometimes they use a
wheelchair. Um, some of them have permanent colostomy bags. Some of them have no sexual function. Many of them
have to use catheterss or do what we call a self-cath because they no longer have the ability to pee on their own. um
many of them don’t have any control over their bowels. So the injuries can be quite devastating. Um from a malpractice
point of view, these cases are significant on the kind of damages that that come as a result of an undiagnosed kadaquinus syndrome.
