Many people experience low back pain.
And as we get older that’s a pretty common thing in our population. Many people are familiar with that. Many people are familiar with sciatica.
Cauda equina will often incorporate sciatica and low back pain. But the red flag symptoms are when there are
additional um neurological concerns that come up.
For instance, if a patient begins to feel numbness in one or both of their legs or they feel numbness in their
buttocks, if they have um numbness in their genital area, if they have
decrease in sensation when going to the bathroom or they have a hard time keeping in um either their stool or urine, those are concerning symptoms.
Those are symptoms when added to the back pain that require a patient to go in and seek urgent treatment, typically going to the emergency room. Really
classic um red flag symptoms of kadocquinina that are should be addressed and addressed quickly.
