Philadelphia, PA immigration attorney Alex G. Isbell discusses his experience with immigration appeals. He explains that his work with immigration appeals begins even before he becomes an attorney. While clerking in law school, he works on appeals and continues to handle them throughout his career. He regularly represents clients in appeals before various circuit courts and often before the Board of Immigration Appeals. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and, on several occasions, considers filing a writ of certiorari, though he ultimately chooses not to pursue it. In addition, he works extensively with administrative appeals, including cases before USCIS’s Administrative Appeals Office and different types of appeals before the Department of Labor, such as BALCA.
