I come from the mindset that most cases

can be settled I don’t think that there

is a reason to ever be overly litigious

I know a lot of people like that

approach in their lawyer they want them

to be kind of that you know really

upfront really litigious kind of person

which is totally warranted if the case

warrants it but I think my practice and

the attorneys here as well we come from

an approach that’s like okay well how

can we be the most reasonable and

resolve this you know with the other

attorney obviously if the issues are

really complex that and they need

litigation

um you know that’s something that you’re

going to have to do and that’s not a

problem but I just think it’s important

for attorneys to know that you can come

across as as reasonable and still do

what’s in the best interest of your

client you don’t necessarily need to be

you know this Bulldog constantly that’s

you know racking up fees and and being

in court every minute so I think that

it’s helpful for other attorneys to know

that that’s the kind of attorney that

you are

foreign

I think the most rewarding part for me

is being a guardian ad litem and that’s

an individual attorney that’s appointed

by the court to represent the children’s

best interest and I think a lot of that

work is really rewarding getting to talk

with children and getting to talk to the

parents and you know being able to speak

with teachers and therapists and things

that you know as a regular attorney

representing your clients you can’t do

and you’re doing all this for the best

interest of the children and putting the

child in the best situation possible so

I find that to be the most

rewarding part of my job
