The clients who come to us have been harmed in a significant way. They’re not
damaged in their body, but they have lost their livelihood. They have lost their careers. Frequently the careers
are tied to their personalities and their social circles. So when they lose a job, they lose a big chunk of
themselves. And they come to us to do right what has been done wrong. And I take that responsibility very seriously.
We want to make sure that when we agree to take on a case for a client, that we stay involved with them, that we are
responsive to them, not just at the legal level, but at an emotional level. Sometimes clients just want to be heard.
We provide that to our clients. We want to be a place where our clients can come
leave their baggage of emotional issues and move on with their lives. try to put
their lives back together, find a job, and allow us to try and put the pieces of their former career back together and
seek compensation for them to try and at least do a little bit of justice because money is the only thing that we have in our legal system right now.
The best clients are those who are organized. They have their documents organized. They have their thoughts
organized. And so when we take on a new client, I advise them to write
everything down because when they come to us, things are fresh and they know what happened. Sometimes a deposition of
a client might not happen for another 12 months and they may forget those. And so
I advise my clients to be organized with their documents. I advise them to write down their thoughts, the events, create
their chronology, and stay on top of it and update those as they go along. The other thing I always tell my clients is
be truthful in your assessment of the facts. Tell me, your lawyer, the truth, and allow me to get you the best results
based on the facts that actually happened. You do not need to overstate your case to win.

Los Angeles, CA employment plaintiffs attorney Navid Yadegar talks about the philosophy that guides his work and shares his most common piece of advice to clients. He recognizes that many of the clients who come to his firm have suffered significant harm, not necessarily through physical injuries, but through the loss of their livelihoods and careers. He notes that careers are often closely connected to a person’s identity, personality, and social relationships, so losing a job can mean losing a substantial part of who they are. He takes the responsibility of representing these clients seriously and seeks to help address the wrongs they have experienced.
He emphasizes that when his firm agrees to take on a case, the attorneys remain actively involved and responsive to their clients, not only from a legal perspective but also on an emotional level. He recognizes that clients sometimes need someone to listen to what they have experienced and want a place where they can express their concerns and begin moving forward with their lives. He wants his clients to have the opportunity to focus on rebuilding their lives, finding new employment, and moving forward while his firm works to help restore what was lost from their former careers and pursue compensation as a means of achieving some measure of justice.
He also points out that organized clients are often better prepared to assist with their cases. He encourages new clients to write everything down while the events are still fresh, because important details can be forgotten by the time a deposition or other legal proceeding takes place, which may be many months later. He recommends keeping documents organized, writing down thoughts and important events, creating a detailed chronology, and regularly updating it as the case develops.
Finally, he stresses the importance of being completely truthful with an attorney when discussing the facts of a case. He encourages clients to provide an honest assessment of what actually happened and to trust their attorney to determine how best to present those facts. He explains that clients do not need to exaggerate or overstate their circumstances in order to pursue a successful claim, as the strongest approach is to build the case around the truth.
