understanding the process and how it
works. I think that’s a huge step in in
the legal realm because a lot of times
you don’t know what it means to be in an
abusive relationship. A lot of times
victims come and they don’t understand
that they have been subjected to
domestic violence. So, it’s an awareness
thing. And also, I believe that I can
help in ways that others cannot because
there’s a level of empathy and
understanding as to why victims react a
certain way, why they didn’t call the
police, why they didn’t, you know, reach
out for help sooner rather than later.
So, you have to understand that mindset
in order to assist and help.
