I became a lawyer because I set out to
be a doctor and I learned early on that
I was scared of blood and so my mentor
told me I wasn’t going to make it as a
doctor and I went on to do healthcare
administration and while I was getting
my masters we had to go to the law
school and take a health law course and
I fell in love with the whole socratic
method being a lawyer
And that’s what set me out to become a
lawyer.
The most rewarding aspect of my practice
is being able to assist clients through
a very very tough process. And although
I don’t believe there are any winners in
a divorce or a division situation or a
paternity situation, I do believe that
outcomes are predicated upon planning
and being a strategic team with your
client. And so I aim to do that and we
set out our goals and when we reach them
and hit them and my clients are happy, I
feel like I have been, you know,
rewarded the best way I possibly could.
