lawyers soon enough early consultation

with a with a lawyer is a bit like

preventive medicine it’s much better to

be healthy and deal with the problems at

the outset and understand where you’re

going than to have to deal with them

later

clients sometimes i think also can be

overly optimistic

about their expectations of their

counterparties and one of the toughest

uh consequences that that clients can

suffer is uh kind of overestimating uh

the capability or uh performance

expectations of their counterparties and

they wind up getting disappointed when

the counterparty doesn’t perform to

expectations and then they come to

lawyers and say well i’m really upset i

want you to find a legal reason

to help me redress the problems that

i’ve had with my counterparty
