So, a common injury that we see in in in personal injury cases, car accident cases, is head injuries and and and what we what we call a concussion. Now,
they’re called TBI, traumatic brain injuries. And years ago, um they weren’t taken as seriously as we do now. So,
your lawyer needs to be aware that you’ve suffered a traumatic brain injury, a concussion, and knows how to document that and make sure that the
insurance company understands everything you’ve gone through. They can be terribly debilitating. Um, they can cause they can cause long-term problems
and we need to make sure we have a full understanding of that. years ago when when you know football players, you know, got a concussion, they would put
them right back in. And and now we know and the NFL knows, by the way, that that can be a long-term problem if you have multiple concussions over time. And it
used to be believed that to diagnose a concussion that the victim must have suffered some sort of loss of
consciousness. And now we know and doctors know that that is not necessarily the case. You can you can have a concussion, you can have a traumatic brain injury without
necessarily uh losing consciousness. And lawyers need to be aware of that and make sure that they they present all the evidence of injuries to the insurance
company or to the jury or or or to make sure that the person is uh is fully compensated.
