I have medicine, and the effects of good and bad medicine are very interesting to me, so I’ve taken cases that provided a challenge and the opportunity to work with neurologists and other doctors in the field. We’ve seen brain injury cases resulting from accidents where the brain has suffered trauma. We’ve also seen brain injury cases resulting from possibly medical malpractice, where the brain has been deprived of oxygen for some reason related to a surgery or a condition which should have been remedied. Those are very serious cases. The damages are catastrophic. They take a substantial amount of time to resolve, typically, and they require you being willing to hang in there for the entire course of the project and try the case if necessary.
