Robert D. Eckard

Robert “Rob” Eckard is the founding partner of a litigation firm. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, he established the firm in 2000. Rob is Board Certified in Business Litigation by the Florida Bar, specializing in white-collar criminal investigations and defense, commercial/business litigation, and professional licensing. His background and experience in both business litigation and criminal defense uniquely qualify him to handle business crimes.

In civil litigation, Rob has litigated cases against various government entities such as the Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, Internal Revenue Service, Florida Attorney General’s Office, and more. He has handled cases involving investor fraud, non-compete agreements, trade secrets, unfair trade practices, civil RICO, and regulatory violations.

In criminal defense, Rob has represented individuals in state and federal courts across Florida and the country. He has handled cases involving federal agencies like the FBI, DEA, Office of Criminal Investigations, and Department of Homeland Security. His representation includes grand jury proceedings, international narco-trafficking, money laundering charges, extradition proceedings, and cases related to bribery, conspiracy, health care fraud, securities fraud, and other white-collar crimes.
