We handle a lot of premises liability cases, commonly referred to as slip and fall cases. You you you go to Kroger,
you go to Walmart, whatever, and you you fall and you get hurt. However, you have
to establish that the premises owner was negligent somehow. And under Ohio law,
um, some decisions from our our Ohio Supreme Court make it very difficult for injury victims, um, to achieve fair compensation in in these premises
liability cases. You have to establish that there is a dangerous condition on the premises. That is something on the property that you encountered and you
you were hurt as a result. And then you have to show that the dangerous condition was either created by or that
the premises owner knew about it. and and failed to correct the problem. So,
those are the basics of a premises liability case. A lot of law firms don’t touch them. We do. Um, and we’re very successful with them and we have been
very successful over the years and which is why we continue uh to take on premises liability cases where other law firms won’t.

Dayton Ohio, personal injury attorney Kevin Attkisson talks about premises liability. He explains that his firm handles many premises liability cases, commonly referred to as slip and fall cases, involving injuries that occur on another person’s property, such as a grocery store or retail establishment. He notes that under Ohio law, an injured person must establish that the property owner was negligent by proving that a dangerous condition existed on the premises, that the condition caused the injury, and that the property owner either created the hazard or knew about it and failed to correct it. He acknowledges that Ohio Supreme Court decisions have made these claims more challenging for injury victims seeking fair compensation, but emphasizes that his firm has successfully handled premises liability cases for many years and continues to represent clients in these complex matters, even when other law firms choose not to do so.
