sex crimes are difficult cases I I

handled some time ago

a case in which a day camp counselor

who is 21 years old at the time

was accused of molesting 16 3 and 4 year

old children during a a day camp

two-month Day Camp period this was back

at a time when such prosecutions were

frequent and they were

based on a a science that hadn’t really

developed with respect to uh The

credibility of children and the the

suggestive questioning of those

investigating in those crimes I was

fortunate enough to have a fair judge a

fair jury and after several hours of

deliberation my client the day camp

counselor was found not guilty on uh at

least 60 counts of what would be

considered child molestation
