What’s the first step of performing an audit in my assessment of a portfolio? It’s generally a holistic look at everything that is intangible, trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, domain names, anything that the owner of that portfolio views as valuable or protectable. So once I get a holistic view of that then I can actually determine and relate those things back to the owner when I’m analyzing in business terms that they can understand.
