Portland, OR family law attorney Jessica Flint talks about the most rewarding aspect of her practice and her service to the community. She finds the most rewarding aspect of her practice is providing value to her clients during what is often the most challenging period of their lives. She focuses on helping them achieve the best possible position as they transition to the next stage of life, knowing that her representation has a lasting, positive impact on their future success and overall well-being. This sense of making a tangible difference is what initially drew her to family law—to help people and provide a meaningful, direct impact.
She also holds several leadership roles within the American Bar Association, spanning both the Family Law Section and the International Law Section. Since 2019, she has served as the Chair of the International Law Committee within the Family Law Section. Additionally, she acts as the liaison between the ABA’s International Law Section and the Family Law Section.
In her specialization in international and interstate family law, attending conferences and holding leadership positions is critical for developing direct connections with attorneys and legal professionals across the United States and around the world. These connections are essential, as international family law cases often require collaboration with foreign counsel and experts.
