i’ve always wanted to be a lawyer since
i was a little girl
i went through the divorce process with
my parents i’ve seen friends go through
the divorce process with their parents
i’ve always had an interest in you know
psychology and
you know just listening to people
helping them through whatever it is
they’re going through and
i think family law really did perfectly
fit
both of those interests and those goals
the love for the law and really like the
love of being able to like help people
and counsel people through
you know
hard times in their lives
[Music]
clients come to our office experiencing
divorce and it really is probably
one of the lowest parts of their lives
that they’ll experience
and it’s rewarding for me to help them
through that process come out on the
other end ready to start a new chapter
in their lives ready to kind of close
the book on this one
and you know while they’re kind of
experiencing the emotions that come with
grieving a relationship we’re able to
kind of take
the load off their minds with respect to
the financial aspects property support
custody things that they don’t
necessarily have enough a lot of
knowledge about and so we’re able to
help them through that while they can
kind of focus on going through the
emotional rollercoaster that is you know
a divorce
Los Angeles, CA family law attorney Anne Slusser shares why she became a lawyer and the most rewarding aspect of her practice.
