Los Angeles, CA employment plaintiffs attorney Navid Soleymani talks about his background & experience and what he does outside of the office. He has been practicing law since 2001 and graduated from USC Law School, having wanted to become an attorney since childhood. During the first 10 years of his legal career, he worked at a defense firm representing employers in employment-related cases, where he gained firsthand knowledge of how employers and their attorneys evaluate evidence and defend companies against employee claims. He now applies that experience from the employer side to represent employees and help them pursue claims against their current or former employers.

Outside of his legal practice, he is a husband and father of three children, and he also has a dog. He and his family enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors, including hiking and biking. He has also maintained a strong interest in government and public policy, having worked as a legislative aide for a state senator for two years before law school and later serving as a law clerk to a federal judge on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. These experiences gave him insight into how laws are created and how they affect ordinary people, an interest that has continued to influence his career.
