Well, you have the same mental health conditions in the workplace that you have every place else. Most folks, most common are depression, anxiety, some sort of ADHD, often a sleep disorder, which sometimes impacts concentration or chemical dependency. Minneapolis and St. Cloud employment law attorney Sheila Engelmeier discusses mental health in the workplace. She explained that the same mental health conditions found in everyday life are also present in the workplace. According to her, the most common conditions include depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sleep disorders that may affect concentration, and chemical dependency. She emphasized that these are common challenges that many individuals experience in their daily lives and that employers are likely to encounter among their employees.
