Yindy Lu was a seamstress in her late 60’s and she was a lot more than that too, she was a mother and she was a grandmother and she was active in her church. She was walking across a road, the light turns green for her, and what she didn’t know was that a bus was running the yellow and then the red light and it hit her. And it took a great deal from her. What was important for us to do is to find out what it took. And a lot of her memories were based in her time in China where she was lived most of her life. And what I think that we did a good job of was showing her true story and what was significant to her in her memories in another country in a different culture but bringing them to life for people who might be seeing some of those things for the first time. And I think that we were very effective in showing the change in her life and what she had loss.
Los Angeles, CA personal injury attorney Thomas Johnston talks about an incident where a bus ran a yellow and red light and unfortunately hit an elderly woman. He explains that Yindy Lu is a seamstress in her late 60s, but she is much more than that—she is a mother, a grandmother, and an active member of her church. While walking across a road when the light turns green for her, a bus runs the yellow and red light and strikes her, taking a great deal from her. His focus is on understanding the full impact of the accident. Much of her life and memories are rooted in China, where she spent most of her years. He works to convey her true story, highlighting the significance of her memories and cultural background, bringing them to life for those seeing her experiences for the first time. Through this approach, he effectively demonstrates the profound changes in her life and the losses she has endured.
