Most rewarding aspect of the practice of law would be being able to help victims, whether it’s a victim of a crime, a person who’s been seriously injured, or you know, a child who’s been sexually abused in school. The most rewarding thing is, you know, maybe where the criminal system has failed that person, or they haven’t been able to achieve justice out in the world on their own. When we come in, or when I come in, and I’m able to help that person, you know, tie up that part of their life, or get some treatment, or some help, or some money at the end of the day for what they’ve been through, that’s extremely rewarding.

Los Angeles, CA sexual harassment & employment attorney Natalie Weatherford talks about the most rewarding part of being a lawyer. She explains that the most fulfilling aspect of practicing law is the ability to provide assistance to individuals who have been victimized, whether it be a victim of a crime, a person who has suffered severe injuries, or a child who has experienced sexual abuse in a school setting. The true reward lies in being able to step in when the criminal justice system has failed them or when they have struggled to attain justice independently. When we, or when I personally, can offer support to such individuals, helping them resolve that chapter of their lives, access necessary treatment, or secure compensation for the hardships they have endured, it becomes an incredibly gratifying experience.
