Yes, a trademark should be used as an adjective. They are not “rollerblades.” They are Rollerblade inline skates. A trademark is not a verb. You do not “go rollerblading.” A trademark is not a noun. You do not “have rollerblades.” A trademark is not possessive. They are not “my rollerblades.”

Otherwise, your mark could become generic because people will start referring to your product as your trademark. And, yeah, “I want a pair of rollerblades.” No. You want a pair of Rollerblade inline skates.

Minneapolis trademark lawyer David D’Zurilla explains how to properly use a trademark.
