FELA is the best protection a railroad worker can have because it is the only law that can fully compensate a railroader, a person that works on the railroad for all of their losses. They can collect not only for past and future wage loss, for fringe benefits, for pain and suffering, for loss of earning capacity, and for long term medical bills or expenses that will occur in the future.
