case when parties are not following a
clear order of the Court the other party
can bring what’s called a contempt to
force the individual to follow the order
for example if you have an order that
one party is supposed to pay child
support and the child support is not
being paid the spouse that should be
receiving the child support can bring a
complaint for contempt asking the judge
to find the other individual in contempt
of court meaning that they haven’t
followed the order and also in a case
like that you could ask for attorney’s
fees to be awarded because you had to
seek intervention of the court to force
the other party to follow an order that
was clear and unequivocal
