So, I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, got a degree in accounting, went and worked for Arthur Anderson in Houston, Texas, for three years, got my CPA, then on to law school in Austin. Since I got out of Austin Law School, practiced in Chicago, New York and here always as a business and commercial litigator. And what’s the language of business, accounting, finances? I understand that very well, and it’s phenomenally helpful to me to have a CPA background without – and I get into a lotta cases I don’t have to hire experts a lotta times. I do my own forensic accounting.

I love to help people, and one of the things we do is we help people. I mean, we’re in a people business for sure. We’re a law firm, but our clients are people. They’re typically small- to medium-sized closely held companies and their owners, and we get to know them very personally and very well. And they come to us, because they have a problem.

I moved out to L.A. after I was practicing for a couple years and eventually worked for a guy named Bill Ginsberg. Bill Ginsberg got his claim to fame when he represented Monica Lewinsky in the Bill Clinton era, salt-and-pepper hair, bowtie, was on all the talk shows. But that’s not what he did. He was a phenomenal trial lawyer. He was one of the most accomplished trial lawyers in the country, and I would go attend trials with him, and I would see how he handled a jury, see how he handled the judge, the opposing side.

Meet business litigation attorney Christopher M. Daniels in this short introduction video. He notes that he earned a degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and began his career at Arthur Andersen in Houston, Texas, where he worked for three years and obtained his CPA designation. He then attended law school in Austin, and since graduation, has practiced as a business and commercial litigator in Chicago, New York, and his current location. His background in accounting and finance gives him a strong command of the language of business, allowing him to analyze complex financial matters directly and often perform his own forensic accounting without the need for outside experts.

He is deeply committed to helping people, recognizing that law is fundamentally a people-focused profession. His clients are typically small- to medium-sized, closely held companies and their owners, whom he gets to know personally and professionally. They seek his guidance when facing significant challenges, and he works to navigate them through to effective resolutions.

After practicing for several years, he moved to Los Angeles and worked with Bill Ginsberg, a renowned trial lawyer known publicly for representing high-profile clients during the Clinton era. Under Ginsberg’s mentorship, he gained invaluable experience observing trial strategy, jury handling, and courtroom advocacy, which helped shape his approach as a skilled and strategic litigator.
