Havertown, PA personal injury attorney Christa High talks about her background and the most rewarding aspect of her practice. He shares that he came to the firm about four years ago, after practicing in Center City for roughly ten years. Following law school, he worked at a large defense firm and then briefly at a smaller firm, so his background was primarily in defense work. He decided to join this firm after reading many of Dan’s articles in the legal press and reconnecting with the office manager, Pam, with whom he had previously worked.
Since joining, he has shifted his practice focus considerably. Much of the firm’s work involves the plaintiff side, handling workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, but a significant portion also centers on appellate writing. He enjoys this work, and other attorneys often hire him for legal writing, allowing for collaboration across the office. The team frequently meets to discuss case strategy and consults with clients—sometimes as a full office, sometimes with just him and Dan, or just him handling specific cases. He describes the environment as highly collaborative, focused on delivering the best representation and work product for clients.
For him, the most fulfilling aspect of his work is achieving a successful outcome for a client, particularly when an injured or wronged individual receives compensation that improves their situation. Equally rewarding is the writing and strategic work he provides to other attorneys, helping them achieve stronger results for their clients. He finds satisfaction in knowing that his contributions directly enhance the outcomes for the people he represents.
