our firm primarily handles personal
injury cases
and with that
requires our clients to
obviously see
medical professionals regarding their
injuries
the first bit of advice i have to give
is that
when you are hurt is to see a
professional go to an er see a doctor go
to an urgent care
make sure that not only are you checked
out so that you know medically what may
be wrong with you but also to document
it if litigation does come up later on
it’s always best to have a medical
record that shows exactly when you were
injured and how you’re injured at what
extent you’re injured there’s nothing
wrong or there’s nothing that could be
negative about going to a doctor and
making sure that you are okay
when it comes to any potential
litigation later on
my background is uh somewhat varied i
started off doing defense work i worked
on
personal injury cases and labor law
cases on a defense side that included
construction accident cases and then
after doing that for a number of years i
completely switched course and then went
to a plaintiff’s firm
and i worked on the cases from the other
side of the caption for a number of
years and i think that gives me a unique
insight knowing
both in terms of what is necessary in
order to be successful as a plaintiff’s
attorney and a defense attorney allows
me now as a plaintiff’s attorney to know
what is necessary to
move a case forward uh what we have to
prove what we have to show to
allow our clients to
recover the greatest amount that they
are entitled to

Brooklyn, NY personal injury attorney Jordan Jodré shares is most common piece of advice to clients and discusses his background & experience. He states that his firm primarily handles personal injury cases, which requires clients to see medical professionals for their injuries. His first advice is always to seek medical attention—whether at an ER, with a doctor, or at urgent care. Not only does this ensure the client knows the full extent of their injuries, but it also creates documentation that can be critical if litigation arises later. Having a medical record that details when, how, and to what extent an injury occurred is invaluable.

He shares that his background is varied—he began his career doing defense work on personal injury and labor law cases, including construction accident claims. After several years, he switched to a plaintiff’s firm, handling cases from the opposite side of the caption. This experience, he believes, gives him unique insight into what is necessary to succeed as both a defense and plaintiff’s attorney. Now, as a plaintiff’s lawyer, he uses that knowledge to anticipate challenges, build stronger cases, and help his clients recover the maximum compensation they are entitled to.
