my philosophy as a lawyer i think the
way the way that i practice is really
very community centric often times i
will find people in the community or
they will find me because they have a
particular issue related to business
either establishing one or growing a
business or
selling a business and this is my
hometown
these are people that i meet every day
and generally
they are shops that i go to or
restaurants that i eat at or parks that
i play in with my children
i hope
that i see people
time and time again not hoping that they
have legal problems necessarily but hope
that we can help them
through um in my
capacity as a lawyer
very exciting um processes in their
lives or times in their lives when
they’re establishing a business and i
hope those businesses thrive and that
myself and my children can
visit my clients in their establishments
and become their patrons after they are
my patron
so my story is pretty quick and easy i’m
a native of las vegas i was born here
when there was probably only 500 000
people in the city of las vegas so we’re
nearly two and a half million now so
there’s been an explosion since i was
born
my family has been in real estate and
gaming we’ve developed a lot of property
commercial and residential throughout
the valley
and have owned gaming companies and i
went away to school
completed school fairly quickly came
back
i went to boston for undergrad i went to
michigan for grad school i came back
home because there were so many
opportunities in nevada for
business and in real estate and i love
family and community so i came back home
i’ve practiced law um
since i was 12 since i was 22
i didn’t really think i was going to get
into business but i love it i just i
think it is
the best area of law to practice and i
think it’s creative i think it’s helpful
i i love to find solutions i’m a curious
person so i have people come to me with
all from all walks of life with all
manner of creativity and ideas and how
to get an roi on those and
there’s just nothing better than being
able to help people and be a part of
that process
and
nevada is the best place to do it we’ve
been we’ve been growing at an
exponential rate since the day i was
born
