The biggest piece of advice that I give to my clients is don’t make it worse. So you want to look at the situation, look at your reaction, and make a decision as to whether this is escalating the situation or not. Because the more things escalate, the more time and the more money is going to be dumped into this case. My background – I used to work as a victim and witness advocate in the district attorney’s office with domestic violence victims and survivors. And so it definitely prepared me for working in family law and dealing with all different types of cases and clients. Outside the office, when I’m not practicing law or focusing on my clients’ cases, I tend to run. I run marathons and I like to travel for marathons.
