One of my mentors was uh Judge Ellis. He
was a magistrate judge in the Southern
District of New York where I clerked my
first year out of law school. And he
taught me to live authentically as a
lawyer, to be myself, incorporate my own
personality in my practice. He always
said, uh, you don’t have to be the
loudest in the room to be the most
persuasive.
I have two young children who I spend a
lot of time with outside of work. I have
an 8-year-old boy and a four-year-old
daughter. And I really enjoy being being
a mom. I love going to on all their
field trips. I love going to all their
their their performances, their sporting
events, and they keep me, you know, I
love coming to work and I love going
home. So, it’s it they maintain a good
balance for me in my personal and
professional life.
