one of my mentors was uh Judge Ellis he
was a magistrate judge in the Southern
District of New York where I clerked my
first year out of law school and he
taught me to live authentically as a
lawyer to be myself incorporate my own
personality in my practice he always
said uh you don’t have to be the loudest
in the room to be the most persuasive

i have two young children who I spend a
lot of time with outside of work i have
an 8-year-old boy and a four-year-old
daughter and I really enjoy being being
a mom i love going to on all their field
trips i love going to all their their
performances their sporting events and
they keep me you know I love coming to
work and I love going home so it’s it
they maintain a good balance for me in
my personal and professional life
