i became a lawyer because I have always
been very curious about the world uh
growing up I was very shy and quiet
except when it came to talking or
debating about things that I I cared
about and what I thought was right or
wrong and on a broader level developing
those arguments you know researching
really taught me the value of of
knowledge and that knowledge is power
and from there on it was a pretty
natural decision to go to law school and
become a lawyer because the legal field
is just one of those places where you’re
supposed to be curious and you’re
supposed to ask questions and push
yourself and your colleagues to do
better and be better and and grow and
the legal landscape is always changing
always evolving there’s always new
opportunities for for growth and
development and there’s really nowhere
else I would rather be or anything else

doing outside of the office I am
definitely a Florida girl at heart so if
it’s sunny I’m outside hiking swimming
you know whatever you name it I’m
probably out there doing it um winter is
a little bit trickier i haven’t totally
gotten acclimated to that yet um so you
can usually find me inside by the
fireplace with a good book or good
crossword puzzle and probably a cat or
two on my lap
