The bread and butter of our firm is our prosecution practice. It’s about 80 percent of what we do. It’s the practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office and Foreign Patent Offices and dealing with the examiners and attorneys in those countries. That’s primarily what we’re known for. We’re known as a prosecution shop. And we take pride in that, and we spend a lot of time and effort focusing our skills in that area.

We also understand that our clients are getting patents and they’re putting products on the market. And they’re going to end up in litigation. It’s inevitable, whether you’re on the plaintiff side or the defendant side, it happens to everybody, as much as we try to avoid it. So we have a nice good litigation practice, as well, that is great at handling mid-size litigations. We’re not the kind of firm that’s going to handle a death of business type of litigation where you’ve got a dozen lawyers working it. We’re more to handle the mid-size litigations in an efficient way.
