I prosecuted a consumer case in the Virgin Islands for a dozen years against Chase Manhattan Bank and Lloyds of London. I brought suit on behalf of a thousand homeowners in the Virgin Islands who suffered tremendous hurricane damage and then got cheated by Chase and Lloyds on their insurance payments.
The homeowners didn’t know what their coverages were, and so we recovered $12 or $14 million for our people after, as I say, 11 or 12 years of litigation. But I always felt good about the result that I finally could deliver for those people.
