So, gender identity has finally been added to a protected classification under the federal law. It has been under California for some time and it’s describing people that are either trans or associate with a different gender than what society thinks they should be associating with. It is a protected classification. We are seeing that a lot in this field and it’s about time that the federal law and the state law are doing something about it.
