The biggest challenge in handling a
custody dispute is the lack of evidence.
If you are coming into court and you’re
trying to convince the judge that your
spouse or your partner is an alcoholic
or they’re abusive or they’re not good
for the children or they left the
children alone. Not having evidence such
as text messages, videos, audio, third
parties that have witnessed uh any
events is very very tough. So I tell
people all the time, the court is not a
court of truth, it’s a court of proof.
