the most common post-degree modification
I see is modification of parenting time
and if we think about it that makes a
lot of sense when we’re setting a
parenting plan initially your child may
be five or six but that parenting plan
needs to grow with your child needs to
grow through the developmental stages
and so often time we find the parenting
plan may be modified several times
through the course of your child’s life
to ensure it’s growing with
them
Portland, OR family law attorney Charles Weber talks about the most common post-decree modifications. He observes that the most common post-decree modification involves adjustments to parenting time. This is understandable, as an initial parenting plan is often established when a child is quite young, perhaps five or six years old. Over time, the plan must evolve to accommodate the child’s developmental stages. Consequently, it is not unusual for a parenting plan to be modified multiple times throughout a child’s life to ensure it continues to meet their changing needs.
