Depends on the client but generally
speaking from the outset we try to
organize our case based on what the
client’s looking for so every client’s
different some clients want to litigate
the case and try it to conclusion go
take it all the way to the jury some
clients would like to settle early on
and if that means they’d rather pay the
plaintiff even if the plaintiff they
don’t believe they owe them anything
some clients really pay them
a few thousand dollars to go away

Palm Harbor, FL business litigation attorney Drew K. Patterson discusses his approach to business litigation. He mentions that his approach to handling cases varies depending on the client’s objectives. From the outset, he structures the strategy around what the client hopes to achieve. Some clients prefer to litigate fully and take the case to trial, pursuing a verdict before a jury. Others may prioritize an early settlement, even if they do not believe they owe the opposing party, choosing instead to resolve the matter quickly, sometimes through a modest payment, to avoid prolonged litigation.
