When he established his law firm in 1993, he intentionally designed it to avoid the common pitfalls clients had highlighted. Clients often felt that lawyers did not listen attentively, were too focused on telling them what to do, and failed to adequately educate them about their plans. Many clients left with plans they did not fully understand or without clear instructions for day-to-day implementation. Fee transparency was also a frequent concern; clients wanted to know costs upfront to budget appropriately, rather than receiving unexpected hourly bills.

With these insights, he structured his firm to prioritize listening, education, clear guidance, and transparent fee arrangements, ensuring that clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the planning process.
