The different types of marks are primarily trademarks, which include trademarks for goods and service marks for services, but there are also entities, which we refer to as collective marks such as the UAW for Labor Union. There are certification marks, such as Underwriter Laboratories for electrical products, and that served to certify the quality of a good or service has met a particular standard. There is also taglines or slogans that are used and there is also product configurations or trade drafts.
