The data indicates that the changes in governance over the last 30-40 years has not resulted in increased share value and it makes perfect sense because the changes have been instigated by lawyers and social commentators and economists but not by business people. If you want to increase share value you have to have changes based on business principles and that hasn’t happened yet.
