From the moment I was a little kid – well, I’m really shy and introverted. So, people were always like, “You should be a lawyer. Or, you know, an auctioneer or a used car salesman or a game show host.” I mean, I don’t – I’ve always been extroverted. And they were like, “You should be in court.”

And what’s interesting is – and I loved being in court, and I love being in court. But I’ve learned to really enjoy the other half of it, too, which is – I didn’t think I would. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve really learned that the complexity of the corporate practice is also very interesting, and seeing how that all fits together.

But from my earliest days – and I’ve had opportunities to do other things, and this is all I ever wanted to do. And I was born to do this. This is, again, why my eyes pop open every morning.
