Similar to asbestosis, when a worker or somebody inhaled or ingested asbestos, it went into their body. And what happens with mesothelioma is obviously – I’ll give you an example of a pipefitter or a plumber. They’re in a building, and they’re working in dirty, dusty conditions, and the asbestos fibers get knocked off or removed off of the piping, off of the building, and it’s floating around. Well, they ingest these fibers and depending on where it lands, unfortunately, with asbestosis, it can land just in the lungs and the alveoli in the – and I’m being very general about this, obviously – in the lungs themselves, in the lining. That’s the mesothelioma. So the asbestos ingestion is where both of these diseases come from. And that’s where it’s important to test. Now the difference – they sometimes will actually do biopsies to find out what it is, where it is. They will obviously take x-rays. But that is how asbestos connects directly to the lungs.
