my philosophy
as an attorney
is to
really get to know my clients and
understand what their needs are
and how to help them it’s not a cookie
cutter situation where one size fits all
i really want to delve into what the
person’s struggling with what their
problems are that would prevent them
from being able to work that would
qualify them potentially for disability
benefits
and then
you know craft a way to move forward in
assisting them legally
in whatever way is available or possible
when i’m not practicing law i’m also a
published author
i’ve been writing for about 25 years
i’ve written
21 novels in the legal drama
area
southern novels obviously i’m a southern
guy
and
also we’ve done four films
that were adaptations of the book so
i’m able to exercise the creative muscle
outside the office said i try to be
creative in helping my clients as well
in the office i wear both of those hats
and enjoy both of them

Charlotte, NC personal injury attorney Robert A. Whitlow share the philosophy that guides his work as well as what he does when he’s not practicing law. He explains that his philosophy as an attorney is to truly get to know his clients, to understand their needs, and to determine how best to help them. He doesn’t believe in a cookie-cutter approach where one size fits all. Instead, he delves into what each person is struggling with, identifying the problems that may prevent them from being able to work and potentially qualify for disability benefits. From there, he crafts a path forward to assist them legally in whatever ways are available or possible.

Outside of practicing law, he is also a published author who has been writing for about 25 years. He has written 21 novels in the legal drama genre, with a southern focus, reflecting his own background, and four of those novels have been adapted into films. He says that writing allows him to exercise his creative side outside the office, while in his legal practice, he brings that same creativity to helping his clients. Wearing both hats, he explains, is something he enjoys deeply.
