one of the things that i find the most
rewarding about being a trial lawyer is
the chance to interact with my clients
everyone that comes through our door has
been
seriously and significantly injured in
some way whether that’s a personal
injury or a psychological injury such as
sexual abuse
and i find it to be very rewarding to be
able to bring them some sense of justice
some sense of closure and obviously some
sort of monetary payment to be able to
allow them to get the treatment that
they need to really heal and move on
move forward after the injury that
they’ve sustained
a big part of my
legal profession involves representing
children i specialize in representing
children who have been physically or
sexually abused in the foster care
system or in other dependency situations
and children are a big part of my life
outside of work as well i have two young
boys a three-year-old and a
nine-month-old who keep me busy
and they’re a lot of fun to spend time
around i also
volunteer as a casa volunteer which is a
court appointed special advocate in los
angeles county where i have a chance to
in my spare time advocate on behalf of
foster care children in l.a county and
my husband and i are also in the process
right now of being approved to be foster
parents so that we can provide a loving
home for children who are in need of
that so
children are a big part of my life
professionally and personally and
i spend a lot of time thinking about
them spending time with them and around
them and i really enjoy that
Los Angeles, CA personal injury lawyer Carly Sanchez shares the most rewarding aspect of her practice as well as what she does outside of the office. She finds one of the most rewarding aspects of being a trial lawyer is the opportunity to interact closely with her clients. Every individual who comes through her door has suffered serious and significant harm, whether through personal injury or psychological trauma such as sexual abuse. She takes great satisfaction in being able to provide her clients with a sense of justice, closure, and, when appropriate, monetary compensation to help them access the treatment they need to heal and move forward after their injuries.
A significant part of her legal practice focuses on representing children, particularly those who have been physically or sexually abused in foster care or other dependency situations. Children are also central to her life outside of work. She is a mother to two young boys, a three-year-old and a nine-month-old, who keep her busy and bring her joy. In addition, she volunteers as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Los Angeles County, advocating for foster care children in her spare time. She and her husband are also in the process of being approved as foster parents, aiming to provide a loving home to children in need.
Children play a central role in both her professional and personal life. She spends considerable time thinking about, working with, and caring for them, and she finds great fulfillment in that engagement.
