when i work with clients i want them to
know that when they get done with their
case that they can feel
confident in their approach
that they can feel good about themselves
that they can look at themselves in the
mirror and say that they were
kind of stalwart citizens of the world
and they and they also didn’t give up
what they shouldn’t give up
although sometimes there’s advent
advantages to doing that but at least if
you’re making a knowing and conscious
decision about it so i think those are
really important
important that you they feel confident
and good about themselves when we draw
to the conclusion of the case

Eagan, MN family law attorney, Susan M. Gallagher shares the philosophy that guides her work as well as her background and experience. She emphasizes that when she works with clients, she wants them to feel confident in their approach once their case concludes. She wants them to be able to look in the mirror and know they acted with integrity, making conscious decisions without giving up more than they should—though sometimes strategic compromises are necessary. She believes it’s vital for clients to feel good about themselves and the choices they made throughout the process.
Before attending law school, she practiced as a registered nurse in both the Twin Cities and North Carolina, primarily in intensive care, emergency medicine, and helicopter rescue. With decades of nursing experience, she then pursued law, graduating from what is now Mitchell Hamline. She has been practicing as an attorney for nearly 28 years, with the past 26 years devoted exclusively to family law.
