The philosophy that that guides my
practice, the way I try to break it down
is is breaking down into
education, analyzing a situation, and
then effective communication. So, first
I’m really worried about have I worked
enough to read through materials and
understand kind of the rules that apply,
you know, across a variety of
situations. Then when a client comes
into the office, am I effectively
looking at what their concerns are? You
know, what of the rules I talk about,
which ones apply to their situation? And
then kind of once I’ve gone through that
in my mind, am I effectively
communicating these in such a way that
the clients understand, you know, what
are the rules, what are the laws, uh
what are the options that they have, you
know, that might best fit their their
estate plan, whatever it might be. So
ultimately what it boils down to for me
is education. You know, properly
analyzing a situation and then clearly
communicating uh to the clients what
their what their options
are. Yeah, there are a couple things
that I find to be uh the most rewarding
in practice. The first is bringing peace
of mind and and we see this all the time
just because you know clients come in
and they’re really concerned with what
can they do to best help their kids or
other beneficiaries. Maybe they care
about you giving to charity and we can
help them set things up in a way that
will that will be best help them now to
have that peace of mind knowing that
they have a robust plan in place and
also it’s a way that that you can
benefit the next generation and when
their kids come in to administer this
plan things are in place the wishes are
clear and it can be a huge benefit
across multiple generations. So that’s
the first thing. Another thing that I
really enjoy personally is just solving
puzzles. You you have a what can be a
really complex legal landscape and then
you also have really unique and
interesting people who come in who bring
their own concerns, their own interests.
You try to look through everything and
figure out what’s going to be best for
this person or for this couple and it
can just be really really exciting work
uh that we do. So, I really enjoy that
aspect of of just figuring out and
solving puzzles.
