Austin, TX estates planning & probate attorney Lorenza Cigarroa shares why she became a lawyer as well as the philosophy that guides her work. She shares that she became an estate lawyer because of her deep care for families. Growing up in a large Mexican family from the Texas-Mexico border, both of her parents were one of ten children. Surrounded by aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, she was fortunate to be raised in a warm, loving environment. Experiencing the importance of family firsthand, she recognized how essential an estate plan or probate attorney can be in helping families plan for unforeseen circumstances, protect their loved ones, or avoid conflicts after a family member passes away. Being deeply family-oriented, she knew she wanted to pursue a legal career focused on supporting and protecting families, which led her to specialize in estate planning and probate law.
Her philosophy centers on guiding clients as thoroughly as possible. She understands that estate planning and probate can feel overwhelming, filled with unknowns, especially when dealing with loss or preparing for the future. She strives to support clients through these challenging times, providing guidance and reassurance so they never feel alone. Her approach simplifies what can seem like a daunting process, helping clients feel comfortable and confident with plans they can rely on now and in the future.
