Northglenn, CO estate planning & probate attorney Kayla Seale shares the most rewarding aspect of her practice as well as her background & experience. She reveals that the most rewarding aspect of her work is witnessing the relief clients feel after completing the estate planning process. Clients often realize that they have set everything up to protect their family, ensuring loved ones are taken care of without navigating complex legal steps. That sense of relief, she notes, is the greatest reward in her line of work.
She adds that her approach is often less about giving direct advice and more about asking “why.” When clients share what they hope to accomplish, she asks why they want those outcomes. Understanding the underlying reasons allows her to provide more comprehensive guidance and explore multiple ways to achieve their goals, rather than focusing solely on the client’s perceived solution.
She shares that she attended the University of Alabama for both her undergraduate studies and law school. While there, she participated in an elder law clinic, providing legal services for clients over the age of 60, much of which involved estate planning. It was during this clinic that she first observed the peace of mind and relief clients experience after proper planning, which inspired her to pursue this area of law. Her current position with Jeff has been her first role out of law school, and she describes it as an ideal fit.
