the most rewarding aspect of my practice is the ability to use my knowledge and legal skills outside of just the standard lawyer client relationship and take that out into the community one such rewarding experience for me was having the opportunity to co-author the book titled maryland law of religious corporations with my colleague tom shetlick it was rewarding to write a book that allowed me to bring together my different areas of practice it allowed me to serve my clients and community in a different way professionally i enjoyed writing a book that serves as a legal treatise but personally i’ve enjoyed how the book has impacted my community beyond just my clients you know discussions and with churches and pastors trustees and colleagues i’ve enjoyed that personal experience
