so I think the most rewarding aspect of
my practice is when people come to see
me whether you’re coming in to defend a
crime whether you are the victim of a
crime and you need representation
whether you’re getting a protective
order or defending against one people
are coming in and they’re they’re
anxious they’re at often a low point in
their lives and they feel hopeless they
feel stressed and I get to be the person
who comes and says I can help you and we
have a plan and so that’s really
rewarding I’m I’m very much um a a
problem solver I like to take things and
boil them down and figure out how to
make them better and so giving people
that option and sort of taking that
burden from them is really rewarding and
really uh brings me a lot of

joy in terms of advice that I give to
our clients um every client that comes
in we work with them on an
individualized checklist of of things
that we maybe need them to accomplish
things that we are going to accomplish
how we’re going to work together and
every case is different in that regard
but I think the one thing that sort of
resonates with all of my clients is that
they come in often anxious worried
scared about whatever is going on and
what I tell them is that you know look
you’re going to think about this case
you’re going to be worried about this
case that’s normal but one of the
reasons that you’re investing in an
attorney is so that I can take some of
that from you and so let me help you let
me take some of that burden from you
that’s really helpful for them just to
to feel better of course but it’s also
so helpful for us to work with clients
who are who are clear-headed and focused
and so it’s a it’s pragmatic and also a
feel-good um approach but that’s sort of
the piece of advice that I give everyone
is to just let us guide you trust us and
let us come up with the plan for your
case
