for as long as I can remember certainly
back into uh grade school i’ I’ve wanted
to be an attorney and I’m lucky enough
to have been an attorney for more than
half my life there are several things
about being a lawyer that excite me
every day and the first is just getting
to be an advocate I was the type of
person and still am that always wanted
to uh speak for myself and others I’m
comfortable doing it pretty good at it
and uh I have learned over the years
that uh even wildly successful people uh
might not be so comfortable being an
advocate for thems in difficult
situations such as in court that’s the
first thing the other thing I like about
being a trial lawyer is I tell my
clients you get to win it’s one of the
few professions where there’s an
adversary on the other side and you put
yourself out there in court or or out of
court in motions and things and there’s
a winner and a loser and it’s really uh
exciting and and exhilarating for me to
get to win and get to deliver results
for my
clients My Philosophy is to establish
goals to establish a budget and to
constantly interact with the client and
work closely with the client uh to talk
about strategy to talk about
developments in the case to adjust
strategies as uh as they need to be
adjusted because things change rapidly
ly in litigation in my view winning
means winning on budget uh and uh
working closely with clients clients
have my numbers when clients have a
question about the case they get an
answer from me uh and that’s the only
way you can deliver a successful result
to a client is by working with that
client to uh to discuss refine and
deliver results
